How Does It Work?

Will It Work For Me?

Everyone’s hair turns grey at different ages, your percentage of grey is what is most important. Arey is a proactive solution that works best when used at the first signs of grey hair. For best results we recommend using Arey when you are 0-30% grey. Even though repigmentation is less possible when you have more than 30% grey, preservation is. The ingredients in our products can help with preserving remaining pigment, and improve common characteristics of aging hair, like coarseness and dryness.

WHAT PERCENTAGE GREY ARE YOU?

Results may vary. Repigmentation is only possible on hairs that still have melanin in the root. Even though repigmentation is less possible when you have more than 30% grey, preservation is. The ingredients in Arey products can help with preserving remaining pigment, and improve common characteristics of aging hair, such as coarseness and dryness.

Grey vs. White: Timing Matters

Arrows show progression from color to gray. What is Oxidative Stress?

Oxidative stress is a phenomenon caused by an imbalance between production and accumulation of oxygen reactive species (ROS) in cells and tissues and the ability of a biological system to detoxify these reactive products. Oxidative stress can come from UV rays, cigarette smoking or the use of on scalp hair dye. Over exposure to oxidative stressors can cause the cellular function to be disrupted, which can lead to depigmentation (grey hair) and other common signs of aging hair.

Diagram shows UV rays causing oxidative stress in skin layers, leading to cell damage. Three cells are illustrated: a healthy cell, a free radical-attacked cell, and a cell with oxidative stress.
