WHAT IS IT?

 

The Shower Duo Refill Pouches let you top up your Wash Shampoo and Smooth Conditioner bottles with the same color-safe, skincare-grade formulas you love while cutting down on waste. Each pouch refills two bottles. Wash Shampoo, powered by our patented Mela-9® Complex, helps preserve pigment with full-scalp coverage as it gently removes oil and buildup. Smooth Conditioner hydrates, softens, and reduces breakage for shinier, more manageable hair. Color-safe, dermatologist-tested and hypoallergenic.

100% natural cedar + sage scent; made without sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, PEG, formaldehyde, or dyes.

HOW TO USE

 

1. Apply Wash to scalp and roots, massaging in and lathering.
2. Leave on for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
3. Apply Smooth from mid-lengths to ends. Leave on as desired, then rinse.
4. Use 3–5 times per week for maximum results.

Our refill pouches equal 2 full-size bottles. Pour into your existing Wash and Smooth bottles before use.

How to apply Arey Wash shampoo
Wash is a gentle shampoo with proactive ingredients that stimulate pigment production and support hair health.

HOW TO USE:
  • Dispense a silver dollar-size amount into your hand and work the product into a lather.
  • Wet hair and apply to scalp and roots.
  • If more lather is needed, add more water and continue to massage into the scalp.
  • Remember to focus on the back of your head as well.
  • Allow the product to sit on the scalp for several minutes.
  • This allows the active ingredients to fully absorb into the scalp.
  • Rinse thoroughly, and follow with Smooth conditioner.
How to apply Arey Smooth conditioner
Smooth is a nourishing and clean conditioner that helps retain moisture inside the hair strand.

HOW TO USE:
  • It leaves a conditioning barrier to help hair to look healthier without feeling weighed down.
  • Depending on your conditioning needs, apply a quarter to silver dollar size amount to mid shaft and ends.
  • Tip: Conditioners should not be applied on or near the scalp.
  • Smooth can be left on the hair for several minutes for deeper conditioning.
  • Use a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute before rinsing.
  • Best when used with Wash shampoo.

    skeptical but now I'm a believer

    Doesn't dry my hair out causing dandruff and I have. seen my hair that had a little bit of gray to practically none at all. I was skeptical because I'm black with of course coarse hair but it works on all textures. Really happy

    I've committed to the shower duo and I love how it takes care of my hair, giving it healthy softness. I have also noted that my greying process has stalled, and since using the shower duo as part of my routine, my brown hair overall is richer in color and the growth of new grays has slowed (if not stopped) considerably. Yes, all of our products are sulfate-free. Our Wash Shampoo creates a luxurious lather and leaves hair perfectly clean, soft, smooth and balanced. Bubbles willl also be smaller in nature than those shampoos made with sulfates. Just add a bit of water and you'll be able to create a lather.

Arey Wash Shampoo contains our patent-pending Mela-9™ Complex which works to slow and repigment grey hair. It also delivers healthier, softer, glossier hair. Like all of our products, Wash Shampoo is made with clean ingredients and is vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free.

Many conditioners contain silicones that are too heavy – especially for fine hair. They build up on your strands leaving your hair limp and lifeless. That’s why we use Amodimethicone, a silicone derivative, in our Smooth Conditioner. The light, protective coating that amodimethicone provides helps to improve the visible softness and shininess of the hair by smoothing the hair shaft and locking in moisture. Unlike other silicones, Amodimethicone won’t cause pore-clogging buildup on your hair and scalp.

Amodimethicone responds to the needs of each strand by locking in moisture, smoothing your hair, and controlling frizz. Amodimethicone not only smoothes your hair, but it also improves the texture of fine or wavy hair, controls frizz, repairs the hair shaft on damaged hair, reduces hair damage by preventing tangling, softens, and smoothes your hair and increases shine.
