What is the Shower Duo and how does it help my hair?

The Shower Duo pairs Wash Shampoo and Smooth Conditioner to gently cleanse, hydrate, and strengthen hair while addressing early signs of aging hair, including slowing the appearance of greys and preserving your natural pigment over time. Wash helps support a balanced, healthy scalp. Smooth locks in moisture, reduces breakage, and leaves hair softer and more manageable.

How soon will I see results with the Shower Duo?

Most customers see softer, stronger, more hydrated hair within the first few washes and improvements in the appearance of new greys with regular use over 3–6 months. Consistency matters. Aim to use the duo 3–5 times per week for maximum benefit.

What makes the Shower Duo different from regular shampoo & conditioner?

Unlike standard cleansers and conditioners, the Wash Shampoo is formulated with the patented Mela-9® Complex, a blend of botanicals, antioxidants, and peptides shown to help slow early grey appearance and preserve existing pigment. Is the Shower Duo safe for color-treated or chemically treated hair?

Can the Shower Duo help with dryness or breakage?

Yes. Wash Shampoo supports a healthy scalp and stronger hair at the root, while Smooth Conditioner delivers lightweight hydration that helps reduce breakage, soften strands, and improve manageability. Smooth Conditioner is ideal for fine to medium hair. If your hair is medium to coarse or experiencing significant dryness or damage, we recommend layering in Masque Deep Conditioner for deeper hydration and repair.

No — the formulas are designed to hydrate without weighing hair down. While they deliver moisture and softness, they rinse cleanly and leave hair feeling balanced, not greasy or heavy.

Yes. The Shower Duo can be used on all hair types and is especially well suited for fine to medium hair. For medium to coarse hair, we recommend layering in Masque Deep Conditioner for added moisture, nourishment, and manageability.

How does the Shower Duo help slow greys?

Wash shampoo is sulfate-free, does it have a lather?

Yes, all of our products are sulfate-free. Our Wash Shampoo creates a luxurious lather and leaves hair perfectly clean, soft, smooth and balanced. Bubbles will also be smaller in nature than those shampoos made with sulfates. Just add a bit of water and you'll be able to create a lather.

Are there silicones in Smooth conditioner?

Many conditioners contain silicones that are too heavy – especially for fine hair. They build up on your strands leaving your hair limp and lifeless. That’s why we use Amodimethicone, a silicone derivative, in our Smooth Conditioner. The light, protective coating that amodimethicone provides helps to improve the visible softness and shininess of the hair by smoothing the hair shaft and locking in moisture. Unlike other silicones, Amodimethicone won’t cause pore-clogging buildup on your hair and scalp. Amodimethicone responds to the needs of each strand by locking in moisture, smoothing your hair, and controlling frizz. Amodimethicone not only smoothes your hair, but it also improves the texture of fine or wavy hair, controls frizz, repairs the hair shaft on damaged hair, reduces hair damage by preventing tangling, softens, and smoothes your hair and increases shine.

How to Apply

Wash is a gentle shampoo with proactive ingredients that stimulate pigment production and support hair health.

HOW TO USE:

Dispense a silver dollar-size amount into your hand and work the product into a lather.
Wet hair and apply to scalp and roots.
If more lather is needed, add more water and continue to massage into the scalp.
Remember to focus on the back of your head as well.
Allow the product to sit on the scalp for several minutes.
This allows the active ingredients to fully absorb into the scalp.
Rinse thoroughly, and follow with Smooth conditioner.

Smooth is a nourishing and clean conditioner that helps retain moisture inside the hair strand.

HOW TO USE:

It leaves a conditioning barrier to help hair to look healthier without feeling weighed down.
Depending on your conditioning needs, apply a quarter to silver dollar size amount to mid shaft and ends.
Tip: Conditioners should not be applied on or near the scalp.
Smooth can be left on the hair for several minutes for deeper conditioning.
Use a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute before rinsing.

unexpected cure!

Love using the shower duo
The shampoo and conditioner work really well. I’ve been using the duo, along with the capsules, daily for almost a year now, and I noticed my hair was visibly shinier, manageable, and more healthy looking almost immediately. I notice a difference when I have to use a different shampoo/conditioner, and it bounces back as soon as I go back to the duo. My grays are more blended and much less noticeable now.
